Refund policy
We at Nirmala's Home Kitchen take pride in our handmade products. Because our items are perishable, consumable food products, we do not accept returns, and we do not offer refunds for reasons of taste or personal preference. Refunds are offered only in the specific situations listed below.
When Are Refunds Accepted?
- You receive a damaged, expired, or wrong item. In this case, please share a clear photo - we do not ask you to return the product, as our items are perishable.
- Your package is marked delivered but never received, where the failure is confirmed to be on our or the courier's end (not due to an incorrect address or unavailability at delivery - see RTO section below).
- Your order was lost in transit before delivery was attempted.
Depending on the issue, we will offer either a replacement or a refund, at our discretion and based on product availability.
To Request a Refund or Replacement
- For damaged, expired, or wrong items: email us at support@nirmalashomekitchen.com within 2 days of delivery, along with your order ID, a clear photo of the item, and your concern.
- For an order lost or never delivered: email us at support@nirmalashomekitchen.com within 2 days of the expected delivery date, along with your order ID and tracking details.
Refund Timeline
- Prepaid orders: refunds are credited to your original payment method within 7 working days of approval.
- COD orders: since there is no original payment method on file, approved refunds will be processed via UPI or bank transfer within 7 working days of approval. Please share your UPI ID or bank details when requested.
Return to Origin (RTO)
If an order is returned to origin (RTO) due to an incorrect or incomplete address, customer unavailability, or refusal of delivery, forward and return shipping charges will be deducted from any applicable refund.
We Do Not Offer Refunds For:
- Taste or personal preference
- Delays caused by courier service, where the order is still in transit and eventually delivered
- Orders returned to origin (RTO) due to customer unavailability - subject to the deduction above
